The majority of plants used to produce Bioforce products are grown on site, in the fertile conditions of Roggwil. This allows complete control over the cultivation of the plants - from planting to harvesting. Bioforce Fresh Herb Tinctures are produced using the process of maceration - the traditional method of herb extraction used by Phytotherapists. It produces a tincture which contains the complete spectrum of active ingredients found in the herb, as alcohol is able to absorb both the fat and water substances found in each plant. In addition, maceration allows for the complete extraction of the plant without the use of heat, which has the potential of destroying some of the active plant constituents. All Bioforce tinctures are holistically standardised to ensure that the complete spectrum of constituents found naturally in each herb is present. Stringent quality control tests are carried out at many stages of the growth and processing of the herbs. A complete range of tets is carried out on each and every batch of plants, using state of the art analytical tools such as Thin Layer Chromatography, High Pressure Liquid Chromatography, and Gas Chromatography.
