Lipocol is made from natural source ingredients which help to maintain the efficient action of the bowels. Psyllium husks, which come from the cleansing plantain Psyllium, are rich in fibre and able to absorb more than 20 times their own weight in fluid. When taken with water or fruit juice, the husks form a soft gel which is ideally suited to remove unwanted material from the colon. Recent research has shown how the husks in Lepicol can help keep the bowels in general good health. The Psyllium used in Lepicol is 98% pure and is believed by the manufacturer to be the highest grade available. Lactobacillus Acidophillus and Lactobacillus Bifidum bacteria, known as the friendly bacteria, are vital to a healthy colon. Many bowel disorders often result in unfriendly bacteria getting the upper hand. The inclusion of healthy bacteria in Lepicol plays an important part of the overall programme in keeping the colon healthy. Fructo-Oligosaccharides are extracted from artichokes and have been shown to extend the life of Lactobacillus bacteria. Recent research in Japan and the USA has shown how Fructo-Oligosaccharides can improve intestinal flora and enhance the bifidobacteria population. Lepicol is Gluten, Wheat, Phytate and Dairy free. Directions: (Adults) - take two heaped teaspoons (10g) twice daily. Mix with water or fruit juice and consume immediately. Follow this with a further cup of water or fruit juice.
