The MP2B ‘silent’ bird scarer is a dual deterrent device, with a high frequency noise generator to cause auditory discomfort and a strobe lamp to add a visual deterrent.

The high frequency noise works in two ways. Firstly, it causes the birds discomfort and irritation, causing the majority to leave the area. Second, it attracts their attention to the location of the bird scarer which ensures that they see the bright strobe light and are scared away. To reduce the nuisance factor, the inbuilt light sensor can be set to switch off the strobe at night.

Ideally, the MP2B bird scarer should be installed where is has an unobstructed line of sight of the birds. The effective range is up to 15m in an arc of about 90-degrees.

Designed for outdoors or indoors, the MP2B is supplied ready for use with a pre-attached bracket allowing the deterrent device to be mounted and accurately aimed at the birds or the area to be protected.

A 10m ingress protected power cable offers adequate length to reach a covered power supply. The MP2B is supplied with a mains transformer or battery connections according to requirements.
