French Air Force Tow Straps

When towing an aircraft or lifting heavy loads you need a strong vehicle, but no chain is stronger than the weakest link.
That's why the French Air Force use these heavy duty tow straps that can handle the toughest jobs.

There are 2 models with the following capacity:
AP8 - 16t
AP1 - 8t
Both are 9.30m in length with loops at both ends for attaching a shackle etc.

Grade (slope) resistance:
Upgrade (vehicle has to be recovered up a slope or grade)
15 degrees - add 25% of LW
30 degrees - add 50% of LW
45 degrees - add 75% of LW
Vehicle recovery on level ground - no correction
